50+ Expo set for Oct. 1-2

The Wiregrass 50+ EXPO will be held Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds on U.S. 231 South in Dothan.
The event, hosted by the Southern Alabama Regional Council on Aging, will offer flu and pneumonia shots as well as other health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, cancer and PSA levels. There will be exhibitor booths, food, musical entertainment, a volunteer fair, demonstrations and educational workshops, and speed dating.
Activities will extend from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 2.
