American Cancer Society hosts Rolling Thunder ride

The American Cancer Society’s Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Ride will be held July 25 with proceeds to support Relay For Life. This is the third annual motorcycle ride.

Bikers will ride 150 miles from Dothan to Ozark to help raise money for the fight against cancer. Once the riders have reached the Perry Recreation Center in Ozark there will be a cookout for all the riders and their families. T-shirts will be sold at the event for $15. There will also be several door prizes, raffles and other activities for everyone involved.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. The ride begins at 10 a.m. at the USA Travel Center (Texaco) on U.S. Highway 231 in Newton about 11 miles north of Dothan.
