Car show at Landmark Park Oct. 4

The 26th annual Antique and Collector Car Show, hosted by the Wiregrass Antique and Collector Car Club, will be held at Landmark Park on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission to the car show is $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for park members and children 3 and under.
Muscle cars of 1964-1973 will be featured at this year’s show. A-models, Mustangs, Chevys, mini-trucks, foreign cars, Corvettes, Camaros, Firebirds, street rods, antique motorcycles, scooters and more will comprise the 44 classes of models on display. Awards will be given for first, second and third places in each class, best in show, club with the most participation, longest distance driven and oldest vehicle registered.
Landmark Park’s annual drawing for $500 will be held at the car show. Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased in advance at the park or on the day of the event. All proceeds from the drawing go towards the operation and maintenance of Landmark Park.
