Memphis Baptist Church in Dothan will hold their monthly Thunder Bike Night on Thursday, June 18, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the church’s bike barn at 4595 Eddins Road. The annual Ozark-Troy District Sunday School Convention will be held Thursday through Saturday, June 18-20, at Greater St. Paul AME Church in Troy. This year’s theme is “Fulfilling our Faith Through Sunday School, Evangelism and Service.” The convention schedule will include Holy Communion services on Thursday at 7 p.m. with the message by the Rev. Lanice Bonds Sr., pastor of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Ariton and the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Ozark. On Friday, the Noon Hour of Power message will be delivered by the Rev. James Winfrey, pastor of St. Stephens AME Church in Opp and St. Mark AME Church in Daleville. Other activities include workshops by the Rev. Paul Phillips, pastor of New Bethel AME Church in Geneva; Dr. Stafford Thompson of Johns Chapel AME Church in Enterprise; and Presiding Elder Willis Huggins. Bethlehem Family Camp, 3073 Highway 160, Bonifay, Fla., will be open Friday through June 26 with programs for all ages. Messages will be delivered by the Rev. Bert Jones and the Rev.
