The Klondyke Gospel Concert Center, 3885 Highway 123 S., will host the following concerts during the month of October: The Gospel Messengers Quartet of LaGrange, Ga., on Saturday; The Suwannee River Boys and Destinee’ Quartet of Jackson, Ga., on Thursday, Oct. 16; Heartfelt Quartet of Rome, Ga., on Saturday, Oct. 18. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge.

Maple Avenue Baptist Church will host the next 39ers C.L.U.B. luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. The C.L.U.B. (Christians Living Under the Blood) is a non-denominational organization open to anyone. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month and features a different speaker and special music. Coffee Baptist Association and Basin Baptist Church will host Siran Stacy on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 5:30 p.m. The former University of Alabama running back will share his story of grace and survival during difficult times. Stacy’s wife and four of his children were killed in a automobile accident in November 2007. The church is six miles south of Elba on County Road 189.
