Cottonwood man charged after killing spree threat
Houston County Sheriff’s investigators recently arrested a Cottonwood man on charges he threatened to go on a killing spree.
According to court records, investigators charged Jonathan McCall, 28, of Sweetie Smith Road, with felony making terrorist threats. Records showed McCall was charged with calling Houston County dispatch and telling them he was violent and he was going to go on a killing spree. The records did not show how McCall allegedly planned to carry out the killing.
Records show McCall was being held in the Houston County Jail without bond, which was set by Circuit Court Judge Butch Binford.
