A Dothan boy was hospitalized Sunday evening after police say his brother stabbed him in the neck.
A Dothan boy was hospitalized Sunday evening after police say his brother stabbed him in the neck.
Four Dothan police cars and a Dothan fire truck, along with an ambulance, responded to the reported assault at Rock Creek Apartments on Cornell Avenue.
Police Sgt. A. Woodruff said the boy suffered serious injuries during the assault. She said a brother apparently stabbed the other brother in the neck with a steak knife. The assault happened around 5:15 p.m. The suspect has been taken into custody by police.
Capt. Larry Draughon said a 12-year-old boy stabbed his older 13-year-old brother. Draughon said charges pending the completion of the investigation.
