Enterprise man indicted for failure to register as sex offender

A Coffee County grand jury recently returned a two-count felony indictment against a 25-year-old Enterprise man charged with failure to properly notify authorities that he was a convicted sex offender.
Brian Lee Carroll of Candlebrook Drive was charged with failure to notify the police department and the sheriff of Coffee County of his intent to move into the city of Enterprise and Coffee County. He’s also charged with failure to register as a sex offender with the Coffee County
Sheriff’s Office, according to a statement released by Alabama Attorney General Troy King’s Office on Thursday.
Carroll was originally arrested in December 2007, but the grand jury returned the indictment against him late last month. Carroll was released after he posted a $15,000 bond.
