Pansey boy charged with molesting 4-year-old girl

Houston County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a Pansey boy late Thursday night on a felony charge that he sexually molested a 4-year-old girl.

Capt. Antonio Gonzalez said deputies arrested Ian Seth Hubbard, 16, and charged him as an adult with first-degree sodomy. If convicted, Hubbard faces 10 to 99 years or life in prison for the class A felony.

“It’s the seriousness of the crime, a class A felony is at the top of the list,” Gonzalez said.

First-degree sodomy carries the same punishment as murder, first-degree robbery and first-degree rape.

According to court records, Hubbard was charged with sodomizing a 4-year-old girl on Thursday.

Gonzalez said the assault reportedly happened around 4 p.m. at a residence in the Pansey community. After an investigation, Hubbard was arrested around 11:15 p.m.

Hubbard, of Bodiford Road, was being held in the Houston County Jail on a $100,000 bond, set by Circuit Court Judge Butch Binford.
