Slocomb woman faces dozen felony charges
A Slocomb woman faces nearly a dozen felony charges in connection to a forgery investigation by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
According to court records, investigators charged Christie Lee Dowie, 31, of Main Street, with a single count of illegal possession of a credit card and 11 counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument.
Deputies arrested Dowie on Tuesday and she was taken to the Houston County Jail and held on a $30,000 bond.
