Three charged over the weekend with robbery
Dothan police arrested three people Saturday on armed robbery charges, two of them Kinsey men.
Investigators arrested Perry Dale Collins, 23, and Kenneth Lee McGlon, 20, both of Scottsdale Court, Kinsey, late Saturday night and charged them with first-degree robbery. Collins and McGlon were both booked into the Dothan City Jail shortly after midnight.
Police have not released what the two men have been charged with robbing. But the Eagle previously published a report that said police had taken at least two people into custody after a robbery at the Subway on Honeysuckle Street in Dothan Saturday night.
Investigators also arrested Christopher Aaron Smith, 25, of Denton Road, late Saturday night and charged him with felony first-degree robbery. Smith was booked into the Dothan City Jail around 2 a.m. Sunday. It’s unclear what robbery Smith has been charged with over the weekend.
Dothan Police Department officials will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. Monday to release more details on the robbery arrests.
