Warrants have been issued for five members of Clio Rescue, Inc.

The members include: Chauncey Wood, Tina Robinett Wood, Alice Robinett, Freddie Childs and Kathy Childs. The Clio City Council requested these warrants be issued at a special called meeting Tuesday morning.

According to Clio Police Chief Richard Johnson, the five individuals were all charged with theft of property second degree (a class C felony) for taking medical supplies from a 1993 ambulance that belonged to the city of Clio.

“They basically took everything that was in there,” Johnson said. “The warrant hasn’t been served yet…(But) It’s a class C felony … they will go to jail.“

Johnson added that the property was stolen Sunday between 3 - 5 p.m.

The warrants were signed Tuesday. Johnson said he expected the warrants to be served by the end of this week - even though all of the equipment and supplies taken from the ambulance were returned by Wednesday.

Johnson said Wednesday the city council might consult the district attorney’s office on how to procede.

I ask everyone to please forgive the mispelled words I posted in an earlier comment this week. However, the message was clear and genuine. Everyone needs to come together and work for the good of the Community. The bad apples are gone, and maybe all the trash talking, slanderous, hateful, inmature comments will finally stop. The City of Clio is not perfect, but they are really trying to get things going in the right direction. Before you(Suttonhater), reply back with another hateful comment. Remember, the blame fell on your doorstep also. Anyone who is opposed to change and hate their fellow man, is as guilty as sin. I maybe an idiot, and I may need to go back to school. But, I am not a hater of any man or women.

Well the guy was dead before a call to 911 was made. So if they had gotten a squad to respond it wouldn’t have matter. But yeah they need to get it going PDQ!

Wow!  At this rate, Chauncey will have more felonies than Michael Phelps has gold medals!  How many does that make now?

I hear CONGRATS> are in order to all of you who support the NEW squad. Clio had an emergency call last night, guess what no one answered it. Well guys the guy died, this is very, very sad. Had you left the existing squad in place the call could have been answered. The mayor and everyone involved in this should have to answer to this mans family. THANKS alot now we have no squad. Just another little note, what is an orgination. Go back to school and learn to spell. One last thing, where the heck is BARBARA county. It’s BARBOUR county you idiot!

Its a shame things have to come to this in our profession. Sometimes a few bad apples have to be removed in order for an orgination to strive again. The city has taken the first step, now its up to you the citizens. The only way they will succeceed is by support of everyone in Clio. I ask you to support the ones who are willing to make Clio a better place. South Barbara County EMS needs you. Contact the new members and see how you can help them, help you!!!!!!
