Bomb squad called to Dale County Courthouse
Published: July 2, 2009
The Dothan Police Department’s bomb squad was called to the Dale County Courthouse on Thursday after authorities found possible toxic material in a foam cooler taken from an alleged partial meth lab in Ariton and appeared to be bomb-like material.
However, Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson said the squad was called in as a precaution and the material was not hazardous.
The Dothan hazmat team, Ozark Police Department and other agencies assisted the Dale County Sheriff’s office.
