County offices are open four days a week, Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Regular hours will resume Monday, July 6.
Also, those city residents who usually receive garbage pickup on Friday, garbage and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday, July 1, instead.

wow….thanks for working so hard for us county commission chairman mark culver and the county workers he leads. the city, state and fed govt are all working thursday since the 4th is on a saturday after all - but not our faithful and diligent county administration !!! As long as they are not getting paid for Thursday then fine. Otherwise, we cannot afford an extra paid holiday.
