A Skipperville man died late Friday after a structure fire at his residence, according to authorities.
Daniel Bryant Jr., 41, likely died of smoke inhalation around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Dale County Coroner Woody Hiboldt said. The cause of the fire, which occurred on Dale County Road 33, across from St. Rose Church, remained under investigation on Saturday.
