Wiregrass runoffs to be decided Tuesday
Voters in several Wiregrass communities will go to the polls Tuesday.
While many municipal offices were decided during the Aug. 26 elections held throughout the Wiregrass, some races will be decided in today’s runoff election.
Several communities will elect mayors, including Midland City, who trimmed a crowded field of six down to two. Voters will decide today between Virgil Skipper and Charles “Chick” Gary. Other municipalities electing mayors tomorrow include New Brockton, Hartford, Samson, Ashford, Webb and Rehobeth.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
