Northview sort of day

As I wrap up a day of work, it comes to me that it’s been a Northview-filled day of sorts.
This afternoon, I met Northview soccer player Trevor Parrish at the soccer fields for his Super 12 photo shoot. Parrish, a tremendous player this season for the Cougars, informed me he’ll be playing his college soccer at Chaminade in Hawaii. What an awesome way to spend four years of school.
Later in the day, Mason Meredeth, a former Northview baseball standout, called as I had requested and we lined up an interview for later in the week. Meredeth just finished an outstanding season at Samford.
And finally, I interviewed Stephon McIntyre, a student at Northview who will be competing in the Junior National Olympics in Denver next month. I watched him train just a bit, and he was impressive. Longtime trainer Johnny Trawick is extremely impressed with the 16-year-old.
