If you were looking forward to the ninth annual Yard Party for Art this Saturday, you’ll have to wait a few more weeks.

The party has been postponed until Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m., so hold on to your tickets.

You have to be older than 18. Tickets are $15 before the party, $20 at the door.

Not much going on, from what I can tell, but here’s something fun and different for all those plant lovers out there.
An excerpt from our Accent briefs that ran in Sunday’s Eagle:
What: A training session for prospective camellia judges. If you want to be a flower show judge or learn more about how camellias are judged.
When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Where: Singles classroom of the Family Life Center at First United Methodist Church in Dothan.
Info: It’s free! You need to register, so call Bill Moon at 794-3216, Bill Nichols at 677-3333 or Paul Angeloff at 794-5408.
