Check this brief out. It’s on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The money goes to a great group that works to control the overpopulation of animals in the area.

A FURfest Antique Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to raise money for Felines Under Rescue, a local group known as FUR that helps get feral and abandoned cats spayed, neutered and fed on a regular basis. The antique festival will be held on the grounds at Cottage Antiques and Arbor Antiques at 2187 S. Brannon Stand Road.
There will be antiques and collectibles for sale by antique dealers, face painting, and pumpkins for sale. Verbal appraisals will also be done for a fee. Dealers can rent space by calling Cottage Antiques at 792-8804.
