I must admit, I’ve been a very bad blogger. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve posted on here.

So, in honor of the 4th of July, here goes:

Today is Freedom Fest at Fort Rucker. Strange it’s on the 3rd instead of the 4th, but hey, that’s the government for ya!

When: Friday, July 3,  from 4 to 11 p.m.
Where: Fort Rucker at Festival Fields on Andrews Avenue
Info: Fireworks display begins at 9 p.m., and a post party will be held from 9:30 to 11 p.m. and will feature the band Infamy. Free admission.

The Family 4th Celebration is an all-day event at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan.
It’s not free, but hey, it’s actually on the 4th!

When:
Saturday, July 4. Activities begin at 10 a.m. Fireworks at dark.
Info: Tickets are $10 at the gate, but children 12 and under are free.
Visit http://www.family4thcelebration.com.

Hopefully, I’ll see you soon!
