The following crimes/incidents were reported to Ozark Police Department on Monday. Information provided by Ozark Police Department:

Criminal Trespass 3rd – Ed Lisenby Drive – suspect came onto property and tried to force entry through the front door of her residence.

Domestic Dispute –

Theft of Property 3rd – HOBO Pantry – suspect removed the ashtray from in front of the store.

Burglary 3rd/Theft of Property 3rd – County Road 13 – suspect entered the victim’s residence by going through a bedroom window and took a water jug which contained assorted US Currency.

Harassing Communications – Dale County Humane Society – suspect has been calling repeatedly and breathes heavily on the phone to annoy the victim due to victim’s daughter recently leaving the suspect.

Information – Campground Road – subject became involved in an argument causing the complainant to go stay at her parent’s home and wanted law enforcement to be aware of the possibility of something happening.

Assault 3rd – US Hwy 231 – suspect started striking the victim causing scratches on various parts of his body due to victim repossessing suspect’s vehicle.

Assault 3rd – US Hwy 231 – suspect was repossessing victim’s vehicle which caused an altercation where suspect struck the victim on her right hand.

Criminal Trespass 3rd – Marley Mill Road – suspect repeatedly comes onto victim’s property without permission.

Harassing Communications – Meadowlake Drive – suspect has been calling victim’s residence using profanities and demanding to speak with his 6 year old daughter.

Newton man found

Authorities say a Newton man who went missing over the weekend was found in Troy.
James Mullins appeared unharmed but confused, according to authorities.

Monday OPD reports

The following crimes/incidents were reported to Ozark Police Department on Monday. Information provided by Ozark Police Department:

Criminal Mischief 3rd – Police Memorial Park – suspect came onto the park grounds and destroyed two lights used to illuminate the seating area where the bathrooms are located.

Theft of Property 2nd/Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Vehicle – Newton Avenue – suspect entered his mother’s unsecured vehicle and removed victim’s .380 Highpoint handgun.

Possession of Forged Instrument 1st – CB&T Bank – Comp (Elizabeth Woodall) stated she took in a deposit for her employer (Mikie Walding Co) and it was discovered that there was a counterfeit twenty dollar bill.

Criminal Mischief 3rd – Faust Avenue – suspect threw several pieces of asphalt at a 1997 Bluebird school bus causing damage to two windows.

Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd – Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union –suspect attempted to cash a fraudulent check in the amount of $3975.20 for a company named “Secret Shopper”.

Theft of Property 2nd – Cliff’s Gun Shop – suspect removed a 45 caliber pistol from the display case while employees were busy and left the store without paying for the item.

Theft of Property 3rd – Dykes Grocery – suspect pumped $38.66 worth of fuel into his vehicle and left without paying.

Weekend OPD reports

The following crimes/incidents were reported to Ozark Police Department between Friday, Sept. 11, and Sunday, Sept. 13. Information provided by OPD.
Friday
Harassment –Harris Hills – suspect came to victim’s door and began using obscene and threatening language towards her.

Domestic Dispute

Burglary 3rd/Theft of Property 1st – West Roy Parker Road – suspect forcibly entered her residence by kicking in the back door and while inside suspect took various articles of jewelry.

Identity Theft – Unknown Location – suspect used victim’s identity to obtain credit in 1999 and the victim would have been 6 years old at that time.

Criminal Trespass 1st –  Cameron Drive – suspect entered victim’s unsecured residence and moved pillows around.

Domestic Assault 3rd

Assault 3rd – Enterprise Road – suspect punched victim several times with her fists.

Reckless Endangerment/Discharging Firearm in City Limits/Domestic Menacing – Hubb Street – suspect discharged a single round in the victim’s direction then a physical altercation occurred where additional shots were fired.

Saturday
Domestic Harassment/Criminal Trespass 3rd –  Pine Avenue – suspect threatened to do bodily harm towards the victim and her daughter and was found exiting victim’s stored building in the back yard.

Harassing Communications – US Hwy 231 South – suspect called victim numerous times on her cellular phone to annoy the victim.

Theft of Property 3rd – Mildred Street – suspect went into the victim’s purse and removed $60.00 in currency.

Harassment – Logan Road – suspect grabbed victim’s purse and dumped the contents on the ground and left with the purse.

Theft of Property 3rd – HOBO Pantry #21 – suspect removed a Samsung Car Charger from the store and left without paying for the item.

Harassing Communications – Mixon School Road #88 – suspect called his cellular phone and threatened to come to his house and kill him if he did not pay back money owed.

Menacing w/Knife – Newton Avenue #A –suspect pulled out a knife and made threats of bodily harm towards the victim.

Domestic Dispute

Theft of Property 1st – Wal Mart – suspects stole $4800.00 in a money gram.

Disorderly Conduct – Dale County Lake – suspects were at the listed location and began arguing loudly using profanity and causing a disturbance where everyone could hear.

Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Parker Hills Drive – suspect struck the victim’s parked vehicle causing damage to the front end and undercarriage then fled the scene.

Allowing Vicious Dogs to Run at Large – White Avenue – victim stated he left his dogs out in the yard when two unknown stray dogs attacked the victim’s dogs.


Ozark Police charged the following with driving under the influence. The person has not been convicted:
