Bomb threat just a scare

There was an alleged bomb threat Thursday at the Dale County Courthouse. Deputies brought hazardous material from an alleged meth lab in Ariton to the courthouse as evidence from the scene. Authorities called in Dothan officials to assist in determining whether the bomb-like materials would detonate. The package was shot at twice but did not blow, authorities said, and there were no injuries.
