Ozark man pleads guilty to felony theft

Aaron Matthew Ribaric, 23, of Ozark pled guilty to charges of failing to register as a sex offender, and felony theft of property.
Ribaric was investigated for stealing jewelry from he a family he befriended.  In course of the theft investigation, Dale County Sheriff’s Office investigators found where Ribarric was convicted of statutory sexual assault in Cambria County, Pennsylvania in May 2006.
Ribarric was arrested in Northern Alabama on warrants for failing to register as a sex offender and on theft of property in the second degree.
Judge P.B. McLauchlin sentenced Ribarric to 24 months in prison.  Ribarric will be extradited to the State of Pennsylvania where is he wanted for a probation violation.
