DALE COUNTY SHERIFF”S OFFICE PRESS RELEASE 08-31-09

John David Lisenby, 43, of Level Plains was arrested Friday, August 28th at his home on 4800 Rucker Blvd in Level Plains on charges of Enticing A Child For Immoral Purposes.

Lisenby is accused of painting the breast of a 13 year old female.  After hearing about these activities, Deputies from the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and the Level Plains Police Department executed a search warrant at Lisenby’s home on August 11, 2009.

At the time the search warrant was executed, investigators found Lisenby painting the breast of a 17 year old female.  Dale County Sheriff’s Office investigators seized computers, cameras and painting supplies from the Lisenby home.

The computers have since been sent to the Alabama Bureau of Investigation for a forensic search of the computer files.

While the search warrant was executed on August 11, 2009, a warrant could not be issued until the identity and age of the 13 year old could be verified.

The search warrant came about when Level Plains Police advised the Dale County Sheriff’s Office investigators of suspicious behaviors involving persons believed to be under the age of 16.

This was a joint effort by the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and the Level Plains Police Department and the investigation is on-going.

Lisenby was transported to the Dale County Jail under $15,000 bond.

Anyone having information regarding this matter are asked to call the Dale County Sheriff’s Office at 774-2335.
