Ozark police reports

The following crimes/incidents were reported to the Ozark Police Department on Monday:

Non Compliance with City Rabies License (on Friday) – East Broad Street – suspects have failed to obtain rabies shots or city licenses for their dog after being warned previously to do this.

Burglary 3rd/Theft of Property 3rd – ADC Automotive – suspect busted the front window of the listed business and while inside took $100.00 of assorted currency from the cash register then fled.

Theft of Property 3rd – Zion Church Pleasant Grove AME – suspect removed the license tag off of the church bus.

Domestic Dispute

Assault 3rd – Newton Avenue –suspect jumped on the victim and began punching and kicking him causing injury.

Resisting Arrest – Ice Street – suspect was told by officer to stop using profanity and threatening mannerisms toward another subject and then jumped up out of a chair and struck the other subject on the head causing the officer to tazer the suspect and place him under arrest.


Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Vehicle/Theft of Property 3rd – Eagle Aviation Academy Parking Lot – suspect broke out the back window of his parked truck, entered the vehicle and removed his Pioneer CD Player from the vehicle.

The following were arrested for felony crimes. None of them have been convicted:

Jackie Smith , 42, of North County Road 69 in Newton, possession of methamphetamine
Tamara Kyser, 40, of North County Road 69 in Newton, possession of methamphetamine
