“Ozark Police Traffic Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into a one vehicle accident which occurred on the evening of August 26th 2009 at a11:41 p.m.  At approximately 11:41 p.m. Ozark Police were notified of a traffic crash on Alabama Highway 123 south near the Water Treatment Facility.  Reports indicate that a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Mr. William R. Salensky was traveling southbound on Alabama Highway 123.  As the vehicle entered a curve the driver failed to negotiate the curve and traveled across a ditch and struck a tree.  Mr. Salensky was transported to Dale Medical Center by ambulance were he was later pronounced dead.  Speed does not appear to be a factor.  Toxicology reports are pending, but it believed that alcohol may indeed be a factor in the crash.  The victim is identified as William R. Salensky age 43 of 177 County Road 18 Ozark Alabama.  The accident remains under investigation”
