The Thanksgiving Gospel Music Spectacular will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. at the Dothan Civic Center. The concert will feature Gold City, the McKameys, Kingsmen and the Perrys. No tickets required for admission, but a $10 donation will be requested at the door. A free will offering will also be taken during the concert for FCC Ministries in Oneco, Fla. Doors open at 6 p.m.; all seating is general admission.

“Meet Lottie Moon,” a dramatization of the life of one of Southern Baptists’ most famous foreign missionaries, will be presented by Gail Hartzog on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church, 25 Enterprise Church Road, Ashford. The event is free. Everyone is invited.

Maple Ave., Geneva, will host the next 39er’s C.L.U.B. luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. Reservations and cancellations should be made by Thursday, Dec. 3, by calling the church office at 684-9617 or the appropriate table hostess. The Rev. Jason Gunter, minister of music and children at Maple Avenue Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker. The 39er’s C.L.U.B. (Christians Living Under the Blood) is a nondenominational luncheon open to anyone and is held the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon.

Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Geneva will host a Spiritual Renewal Weekend with Mark Cahill, a former Auburn All-American basketball player. A youth rally will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. There will also be evangelism training on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. and from 5-7 p.m. Cahill is a graduate of Auburn University where he played on the same team as Charles Barkley and was an honorable mention academic All-American his senior year. He is the author of “One Thing You Can’t Do in Heaven” and “One Heartbeat Away.”
