Reader Reactions
Readers should keep in mind that intelligent design creationism advocate William Dembski (who will be speaking at the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville) is advocating a pseudoscience - not a real science.
If intelligent design creationism was actually real science, Dembski would be spending more time speaking at scientific conferences and less time speaking at churches. (Here’s a clue: Dembski does not speak at real scientific conferences - at all - none - ever.) He is attempting to convince the faith community that his failed pseudoscience is actually science. Please do not be fooled.
You can read Dr. Barbara Forrest’s paper, “Understanding the Intelligent Design Creationism Movement: Its true Nature and Goals,“ available at http://www.centerforinquiry.net/uploads/attachments/intelligent-design.pdf to see what is actually going on here. It isn’t pretty.
