A community interfaith Thanksgiving worship service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1380 W. Main St., Dothan. Father Patrick Gallagher of St. Columba Roman Catholic Church will preach with leaders of other faith communities participating in the service. A free will offering will be taken for the Wiregrass United Way Food Bank. Refreshments will be served in the parlor after the service. The Thanksgiving Gospel Music Spectacular will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. at the Dothan Civic Center. The concert will feature Gold City, the McKameys, Kingsmen and the Perrys. No tickets required for admission, but a $10 donation will be requested at the door. A free will offering will also be taken during the concert for FCC Ministries in Oneco, Fla.
