Local churches offer festivals for trick-or-treaters

Many local churches are hosting fall festivals this weekend for trick-or-treaters and their families. Here is a list of some of those happening Saturday:
First Baptist Church, 2897 Green St., in Marianna, Fla., will host a Hallow Him Fall Festival from 4-7 p.m. Games, entertainment, food and candy. Call (850) 526-4200.

Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark will hold a Family Fall Festival from 6:30-8 p.m. All children up to the sixth grade and accompanied by an adult are invited. Games, crafts, costume contest. Please no ghosts, demons, witches or other scary costumes. Call 774-5610.

Memphis Baptist Church, 4594 Eddins Road, Dothan, will host their annual Hallelujah Night Fall Festival from 4:30-8 p.m. Trunk-R-Treat begins at 5:30 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public as a safe alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating. Free chili dogs. Activities include door prizes, festive photo opportunities, face painting, trunk-r-treat, a cake walk, inflatables, a hay ride, and many indoor and outside games manned by the MBC Youth, who will be dressed as biblical characters. Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 104 Grimsley Drive, Ashford, will host a Hallelujah Fun Fest on from 4-8 p.m. Admission is one can of food per person. Games, food and a raffle for $100 cash among activities.

Harmony Baptist Church, 20932 County Road 70, Andalusia, will host a Fall Festival from 4-6 p.m. with music, door prizes, games, food, trunk or treat and giant inflatables. Call 222-8117.

Omega Holiness Church in Echo will hold its annual Fall Festival at 2 p.m. Food, games, hay ride and a bonfire among activities. Everyone is invited.

New Prospect Baptist Church, located at Geneva County roads 4 and 9 north of Slocomb, will hold a Fall Festival at 6 p.m. Prizes, games, cake auction and food among activities.
