The club will meet at the park on U.S. 431 North on the first Tuesday of each month, starting in October, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Members will have an opportunity to help choose a name for the club and participate in hands-on activities, listen to guest speakers and go on field trips. Possible topics and activities include orienteering, building bluebird houses, tree identification, pond studies, fossil studies, ducks, insects, reptiles and archeology.
Space is limited and there is a $25 registration fee for each member. For more information, call the park at 794-3452.
