Vocal group Beyond the Ashes will be in concert on Saturday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, 2643 Murphy Mill Road in Dothan. The gospel trio recently signed a recording contract with Provident Records. They have also partnered with Holt International to help provide children all over the world with food, shelter, education, medicine and more. The seventh annual Bible Reading Marathon sponsored by the Dale County Baptist Associational Office will be held May 3-7 outside the front entrance of the Dale County Courthouse in Ozark. Ninety hours of reading begins at 3 p.m. on May 3 and ends at noon on May 7, which is National Day of Prayer.
