Klondyke Gospel Music Center, 3885 Highway 123 S. between Newton and Ozark, will host the following groups: Emerald City Quartet from Panama City, Fla., Saturday, March 7; Spoken 4 from Branson, Mo., Monday, March 9; and The Klondyke Gospel Trio from Ozark will host a benefit sing for Vickie Lowery’s son who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident, Saturday, March 14. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. No admission charged.

The Knights of Columbus Thomas A. Dooley Council 6727 of St. Columba Catholic Church on West Main Street in Dothan will be holding fish fries every Friday in observation of Lent, except Good Friday. Plates of fish, sides, dessert and a drink will cost $6.50 each and can be purchased at St. Columba Catholic Church in O’Hara Hall on Fridays starting at 6 p.m. Plates are also available for take out. Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark will participate in a Marriage Celebration retreat for couples on March 13 at Shocco Springs. This retreat, limited to 50 couples, celebrates the strengths in marriages while providing help for the weaknesses. Speakers will be Jerry and Susan Cherry from Olive Branch, Miss.
