Emmanuel Temple Church, a member of the United Covenant of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith Inc. at 314 Doris Lane in Dothan provides a community outreach program between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon for anyone in need. On the second Saturday of each month, hot meals are prepared. Perishable and nonperishable goody bags are provided on the third Saturday of each month. Identification required. The Women’s Missionary Union of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark is sponsoring a “That’s My Pan” and Rada knives fundraiser for landscaping part of the church yard. Greater Friendship African Methodist Episcopal Church, off Highway 10 on County Road 91, Shorterville, will host the Dothan-Eufaula District Harvest Home Celebration on Aug. 15. District pastors will meet at 9 a.m., and a worship service will be at 10 a.m. All ministers’ spouses will meet with Rosetta Brown at 9 a.m. The annual awards and recognition banquet will be held at 6 p.m. at Aviator’s Landing, 113 Novosel St., Fort Rucker. F.A.I.T.H Riders Motorcycle Ministry will sponsor a benefit ride in five states on Sept. 12 with proceeds from each state ride to go to the Baptist Children’s Home.
