Chancellor teen faces rape charge
Geneva County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a Chancellor teenager Thursday and charged him with felony second-degree rape.
Investigator Ben Berry charged Steven Silas, 18, with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old Samson girl. Berry said the two teenagers had a “dating type of relationship” last summer.
Silas was taken to the Geneva County Jail where he was held on a $10,000 bond.
