Dothan man charged in 2007 shooting
Dothan police investigators arrested a 21-year-old Dothan man on Wednesday and charged him with felony assault in connection to a 2007 shooting.
According to court records, police charged Jeremy Shanta Jones, 21, of West Powell Street, with felony second-degree assault. Police charged Jones with using a handgun to shoot another person on Oct. 6, 2007.
Jones was taken to the Houston County Jail and held on a $30,000 bond.
