Dothan man charged with two business burglaries, including Rudd furniture
Police arrested a Dothan man Tuesday and charged him with two burglaries of Dothan businesses within the past week, according to a statement from the Dothan Police Department.
Investigators arrested Keneth Phil Shoemake, 50, and charged him with burglarizing Rudd Furniture on Main Street. Thomas Davis, a police spokesperson, said some assorted lawn care equipment was reportedly stolen. Rudd furniture was reportedly burglarized Monday and a second time early Tuesday morning.
Shoemake was also charged with burglarizing the West Main Pawn and Jewelry store Thursday.
Police charged Shoemake with two felony counts of third-degree burglary. His bond has been set at $30,000.
More charges are pending against Shoemake in the ongoing investigation, according to the statement.
