Dothan man faces two felony charges from drug investigation
A 22-year-old Dothan man faces two felony charges after police arrested him Thursday during a drug investigation.
According to court records, Dothan police arrested Makil Zamar Jackson, 22, of Naomi Drive, and charged him with felony first-degree possession of marijuana and felony chemical endangerment of a child.
The allegations included how Jackson permitted a 3-year-old child to be exposed to a controlled substance.
According to a police statement, police seized about a half pound of marijuana, a handgun and some cash during the search of the residence on Naomi Drive.
Jackson was taken to the Houston County Jail where he would be held on a $65,000 bond.
