Dothan man found not guilty of child molestation
A Houston County jury found a Dothan man not guilty Monday of molesting a 3-year-old girl.
Shaun McGhee said the jury returned the acquittal late Monday for his client, Robert Calhoun.
Dothan police arrested Calhoun, 42, of East Stough Street, on Oct. 23, 2008, and charged him with sex abuse of a child under the age of 12, which included a possible punishment of two to the 20 years in prison for the class B felony.
Calhoun had been held in the Houston County Jail since his arrest on a $25,000 bond.
