Dothan Police make three robbery/burglary arrests
The Dothan Police Department has made arrests in recent robbery and burglary incidents.
Police arrested Kendrick Jermaine Gaskin, Grady Jamelle Miller and Daniel Dustin Simmons.
According to police, Gaskin, 18, robbed a victim in the 500 block of Shirley Street on Dec. 22 by walking up to the victim, brandishing a gun and demanding money. Gaskin is currently in the Houston County Jail on a first-degree robbery charge. His bond is set at $60,000.
Police said Miller, 25, of Dothan, burglarized a Shirley Street home on Dec. 23 by kicking in the victim’s door and assaulting him. Miller is currently facing a first-degree burglary charge. He is in the Houston County Jail and his bond is set at $60,000.
According to police, Simmons, 26, of Ozark, took several items from a store at Wiregrass Commons Mall on Dec. 24. Simmons was caught by store employees and held until police arrived. Simmons was charged with third-degree robbery. Simmons is being held in the Dothan City Jail on a $3,000 bond.
