An Enterprise man died early Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 84 West in Dothan.

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd said Josef Charles Seitzinger, 29, was pronounced dead at the crash scene around 12:30 a.m.

Byrd said the crash happened while Seitzinger drove a Saturn in the east bound lane of U.S. 84 near Pumpkin Road and the Boy Scout office. He said Seitzinger was ejected from the vehicle.

Byrd said the crash happened after Seitzinger apparently lost control at a curve. He said the vehicle ran off the road, hit a culvert and began to flip several times.

How sad. He may still be here if he would have worn a seat belt.
