A judge sentenced a Florida man to serve the rest of his life in prison after he pleaded guilty to three felony drug crimes Tuesday.
According to court records, Circuit Court Judge Ed Jackson handed down the sentence in Henry County Court.
Assistant District Attorney Nereida Bundy said Windell Dobson Jr., 37, of Ft. Pierce, Fla., pleaded guilty to possession of possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana and distribution of a controlled substance.
Henry County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Dobson on July 19, 2005, and charged him with trafficking cocaine, but he pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Bundy said Dobson was also arrested in January 2005, and charged with felony second-degree assault, but Bundy said the charge was dismissed after the victim didn’t show up for court.

WOW !!! What a plea deal. Wonder what he would have gotten if he had went for a trial. Bet he was SURPRISED. I surely wouldn’t want his lawyer to represent me.
