Operation Who’s Next nets three arrests
Geneva County Sheriff’s investigators arrested three men Wednesday on cocaine distribution charges as part of an ongoing undercover investigation called Operation Who’s Next.
Detective Lt. Annie Henderson said three arrests included, Cedrick McIntyre who was out on bond for a prior drug distribution charge filed against him earlier in the operation. McIntyre, 33, of Geneva, was charged Wednesday with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit a drug crime and two counts of fraudulent use of credit card. McIntyre was taken to the Geneva County Jail and held on a $210,000 bond.
“He just pleaded guilty to one of the old Operation Who’s Next cases,” Henderson said. “He hasn’t even been sentenced on that one and we picked him up on a new one.”
Assistant Geneva County District Attorney Stephen Smith said McIntyre had already been sentenced to serve nearly 10 years in prison for the prior cocaine distribution charge. Smith said McIntyre applied for probation on that charge, which will be heard next month.
Henderson said deputies also arrested both Ebony Lett, 27, and Rosario McNeal, 24, on cocaine distribution charges. She said Lett also has a previous drug distribution conviction in Florida. Lett was being held in the Geneva County Jail on a $200,000 bond for two cocaine distribution charges. McNeal was being held in the Geneva County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
