Georgia man charged with felony attempted assault

Dothan police recently arrested a Georgia man on charges he attempted to shoot a woman.
According to court records, police charged Janssen Darnell Lewis, 37, of East Church Street, Columbia, Ga., with felony attempted first-degree assault.
Police arrested Lewis on Tuesday and charged him with pointing a .25-caliber handgun toward a woman and firing it one time Monday. Lewis is being held without bond at the Houston County Jail, which records show was set by Circuit Court Judge Brad Mendheim.
