Houston County deputies charge three Dale County men with burglary

Authorities arrested three Wiregrass men Thursday in connection to a burglary in Newton last month.

Investigators with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office charged Jon Alan Martin, 21, of Daleville, Joey Lee Chandler, 19, of Daleville, and Joshua Michael Corley, 19, of Midland City, with third-degree burglary. According to a statement released by Capt. Antonio Gonzalez, an investigation by the Dale County Sheriff’s Office into burglaries led to the Houston County case in Newton.

Investigators in Dale County seized three shotguns and two .22-caliber rifles as part of the investigation.
