Pansey man arrested on drug charge

A Pansey man faces a felony drug charge after Houston County Sheriff’s deputies arrested him Saturday during a traffic stop near Ashford.

Sheriff’s Capt. Antonio Gonzalez said Danny Lee Ritch, 30, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Gonzalez said a deputy stopped Ritch while he drove a 1996 Dodge Neon for speeding on U.S. 84 near Ashford. Gonzalez said Ritch was arrested after a deputy found cocaine on Ritch during the traffic stop.
