Search warrants result in drug arrest in Dothan

A pair of search warrants served Thursday yielded one arrest and the seizure of 75 grams of cocaine and 11 Lortab pills.

On Thursday, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Agency executed search warrants on Price Street in Dothan and in Midland City.

As a result of the warrants, the law enforcement agencies seized drugs worth more than $3,000.

Roy Cleveland Ferrell, Jr., was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Ferrell’s bond was set at a total of $52,500.
