Slocomb teen hospitalized after shooting
Geneva County authorities are looking for information in a shooting that left a Slocomb teenager hospitalized Monday.
Slocomb Police Chief Don White said Samuel Salazar suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest Monday afternoon at his home on Geneva County Road 9.
White said Salazar was shot in his home and made it out to the highway where he collapsed. Salazar remained at a Dothan hospital Tuesday evening.
No arrest has been made in the shooting. White said it’s unclear why the shooting occurred.
