Wheelchair-bound man struck in car accident
A wheelchair bound Dothan man suffered minor injuries on Wednesday after the motorized wheelchair he was traveling in was struck by a Jeep Wrangler about a block from Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
According to a Dothan police statement, Rex Ming suffered non-life threatening injuries after his wheelchair was struck by a 2007 Jeep Wrangler driven by
Charles Hicks. Police said the wheelchair was traveling east on Fairview Drive and the Jeep was exiting the medical center private drive when the collision happened around 8:30 a.m.
