Wiregrass family faces 40 assault charges
Five Wiregrass family members face a total of 40 felony assault charges in connection to what authorities have called an attack at the Gordon boat landing on the Chattahoochee River.
Each of the five people face charges that they used a golf club to assault eight different people on Aug. 30.
Court records show Houston County Sheriff’s investigators filed an additional 25 felony warrants Wednesday, on top of the 15 which were already filed. Deputies arrested three sisters and two of their husbands in connection to the assaults.
Records say deputies charged the following people each with five additional felony counts of second-degree assault: Nicklus Edwin Green, 34, and his wife, Dusty Renee Long Green, 32, Gregory Todd Gordon, 42, and his wife, Tracey Long Gordon, 35, and Emily Michelle Erin Jarrard, 39, of Weeks Street, Ashford. They were each taken to the Houston County Jail and held on a $75,000 bond.
Investigators have described the incident as an ambush at the boat landing as several people attempted to leave the river. Investigators have also said the charges stemmed from a domestic-related dispute that began on a sandbar on the river. No one was seriously injured.
Denny Holloway, who represents Nicklus and Dusty Green, said the charges his clients face were a continuation of an incident on the river where some people had attacked his clients.
“I think it was a free for all, everybody was fighting everybody,” Holloway said. “The alleged victims instigated the fight down the river, and there was alcohol involved. The defendants came back to the river with a woman to get and check on her children, who were there with her ex-husband for the day. That’s when the fight ensued.”
Holloway said his client, Nicklus Green, suffered injuries during the fight, including two black eyes, along with a strained leg. He said his clients have not filed any charges against the other people involved.
“It seems like one side just got to the authorities first,” Holloway said.

I would surely hope that when you start making acusations like what you said about the gun, that this is something that you witnessed yourself and not some second hand gossip passed from person to person. My question is during all this fighting do you really think that these kids were standing in the middle of it? That does not even make sense. Most psychopaths aren’t even going to point a gun at an 8 year old kid. Be careful what you say, rumors spread like wildfire, think of the irrepairable damage your are doing by saying these things when you were not there.
If Nic is such an innocent person and he is such a good person—why did he have a gun in his hands pointing it at the 8, 9, and 10 year old children that were at the boat landing. And why did his “buddy” try to stop him and tell him it was a mistake for him to “do this” and then he beat up his buddy. Also I’ve heard Grandma has offered a bribe to the victims if the will drop the charges against him. The female looking for her child had already gotten her child—Denny Holloway does’nt know what has happened it seems. It bites when you get in someone face, Dusty, and your hubby Nic grabs someone from the back and tries to beat them up. The whole thing is not about you and Nic, but you need to realize there were small children there watching their mother being beat on. They had nothing to do with the arguement, but were trying to stop it. If Nic is so smart and GOOD why did he let this happen?? Also when he and Dusty got their AS* beat up they left the scene then came back with golf clubs, gun and whatever. Of course I would not stand around and be beat on without taking up arms-boat oars, exhast pipe or whatever. But to knock someone out unconcious and still beat on them is not human. It is time for justice to prevail. If the idiots had left and called the cops the victims would be in jail but they made it attmpted murder by calling in the gang and going back. But look at the innocent children that have nightmares from all of this. maybe Nic and Dusty will lose their child—-The state needs to step in maybe the child will grow up a better person to be away from these in-human people. Countrygirl36370, nowhere in your earliest post on this thread do you even hint that the people who raped your child were charged, brought to trial, punished. You didn’t say you even called the sheriff to complain. So before YOU go shooting YOUR mouth off, read your own post to see just what information you put out there for others to read.
Oh, and since you don’t want your kid’s name broadcast you might want to check the post just after your earliest one, written by Th3 Truth (or some such thing). He called out a woman’s name—is that you? If so, it looks like your kid’s name can be figured out pretty easy.

Obviousley your source isn’t very forthcoming with the truth. but then again your source might be one of the guys that started the whole damn thing. The very fact that you would act like you are doing and say the things that you are saying shows you weren’t raised very well. Its funny how everyone keeps refering to the golf clubs that Nick and them used, but I guess no one has heard about what the “victims” had. I think golf clubs are justified when a group of people are coming at you with steel pipes and baseball bats and paddle oars. Maybe if you just stopped and checked out BOTH sides you wouldnt be so he** bent on trashing Nick.
